About this policy
This policy explains how Nefira v0.12.0 handles personal data. Developer and contact details appear at the end. Nefira does not ask you to create an account or provide an email address, phone number or password. There is no sign-in system.
Information used on your device
Your quit date and time, smoking baseline and pack price, reasons for quitting, optional personal sentence, craving and lapse records, savings goals, milestones, tasks and preferences are stored in the app’s local area on your device. Statistics are calculated from these records. This information is used to show your progress, provide support activities and schedule reminders you choose. It is not sent to the developer or a third-party server.
Tracking and data transmission
Nefira has no backend receiving your records, advertising, advertising SDK, third-party analytics or crash-reporting service. It does not track your activity across other apps or websites. It does not request access to your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, location, music library or HealthKit. The app does not write your personal records to logs. iOS may generate Apple diagnostics and crash reports according to your system settings; these are handled through Apple’s system processes.
Local notifications
Reminders are optional and scheduled locally through iOS. Your in-app preferences are separate from iOS notification permission. You can use Nefira without granting permission. Turn reminders off in Profile or iOS Settings. Notifications do not include your personal sentence, lapse notes or detailed history. A general health or goal reminder may appear on your lock screen; preview settings are controlled in iOS.
Retention, device security and backups
Records remain in the app until you delete them. Nefira does not sync through iCloud or CloudKit. However, device backups you control through iOS may include app data and restore it later. You manage those backups through Apple or your own backup tools; the developer cannot access them. Local storage relies on iOS sandboxing and Data Protection. Keep your device locked and its security software up to date.
Deleting your data
Use Profile → Legal & Privacy → Delete my Nefira data to delete all local journey records and preferences, along with pending and delivered Nefira notifications. This requires explicit confirmation and cannot be undone in the app. iOS permission and existing backups remain unchanged. Deleting the app removes its local container. Removing its Home Screen icon or offloading the app while keeping its data is not full deletion. The developer has no copy of these records and cannot remotely restore or delete them.
External links and contact
Health-source links open in an external browser only when you select them. Nefira does not attach personal records to these links. The website you visit may process information such as your IP address and browser details under its own policy. If you choose to send a support message, the contact details and message you provide are used to respond to your request; app records are not attached automatically. Avoid sending health or craving details unless necessary.
Contact, rights and changes
Use the contact channel below for privacy questions. For support information you provide directly to the developer, you may request information, access, correction or deletion, or object where applicable law provides these rights. Support messages are retained only as needed to handle the request and maintain legally required records. The developer cannot access your local Nefira records; manage those within the app. If data handling changes, this policy will be updated, with further notice or permission where required.
No payments in this version
StoreKit, in-app purchases and subscriptions are not active in v0.12.0. The app does not process payment details or purchase history. If an annual subscription through Apple is offered in the future, the relevant data handling and terms will be updated before that version is released.
